The AZK is the chiller/freezer box van at its best. Only the most excellent materials are used to produce it: a rear frame made of stainless steel, special aluminium profiles which frame roof, platform and side panels and prevent thermal bridges, and durable wm meyer® sandwich polyester panels composed of a polyurethane foam core and coverings made of plastic reinforced with fibre glass. This construction, which has stood the test of time, not only guarantees sturdiness - you can even transport large chunks of meat if the van is equipped with optional metal supports for such transports - but also excellent insulation.

If you go for our 60/60 K model (width of panels: 6 cm), you can attein temperatures as low as -7° C in the interior of the van, depending on the outside temperature. The 100/100 TK model (panel width: 10 cm) even permits internal temperatures as low as -18° C. Due to our covering layers in plastic reinforced with fibre glass you will never have any problems with condensation as would be the case if you had a trailer with steel-covered side panels. As all side panels and the roof are always made of one single piece, you can also paint your trailer or cover it with adhesive advertisements and it will be a joy to behold. A sanded polyester platform, which, of course, is insulated as well, makes for hygienic loading and transport conditions and maximum slip-resistance.

The AZKF is a solid lowrider chiller box van designed for the temperature range between +2° C and +10° C. It comes with a wealth of standard features like a WMK 4 cooler unit (AZKF 2740/180: WMK 5), massive reinforced prop stands at all corners of the trailer, a wooden protection inside (height: 25 cm) and a practical coldroom closing system.

Like in all wm meyer® chiller and freezer box vans, the sides and the roof are made of sandwich polyester panels with a polyurethane foam core (total width: 6 cm). There are a lot of advantages to these panels apart from the fact that we produce them ourselves: they are not particularly heavy, they are very sturdy and they provide excellent insulation: even the trailer platform (width: 6 cm) is insulated. After all, we do not want the cold to escape downwards. As we have the appropiate equipment we can also produce long panels in one piece. That is the reason why the sides and the roof even of the longest trailer always consist of one panel, not of many short ones joined together. That does not only look nicer but is also extremely practical if you wish to paint your trailer or cover it with adhesive advertisements. Due to this one-panel philosophy, our box vans are much better able to withstand snow and rain. Unlike panels covered with sheets of steel, which generate unwelcome condensation as soon as there is a difference in temperature between the inside of the trailer and its environment, our sandwich polyester panels are covered with polyester and, consequently, always remain dry.
